On Tuesdays I join the Weekly Chase link up with Mindy from Road Runner Girl – thanks for hosting, Mindy! Below is a recap from how the goals from last week went over, and my new goals for this week.
Weekly goals for September 22–28; recap
Goal #1 - Daily goals –
A: Log and stay under calorie goals.
B: Drink 48 ounces of water.
C: Eat healthier snacks/meals.
D. Hit 10,000 steps per day via Fitbit.
A: I was about 50% this week. I am recommitting myself to doing this every day this week. I started back at Day 1 of logging in on Sunday, so I think it's the perfect time to start over.
B: Yes, I did well with this. I switched from the Waterlogged app to try out Plant Nanny. I'm not sure yet which I prefer, but I do like 'watering' my plant :)
C: Not so great. I went away for a girls trip on Saturday, and obviously didn't eat or drink the best things, though I should say for dinner I ate a delicious grilled chicken salad with balsamic dressing... not too bad.
D: 5883, 11517, 6425, 13563, 11010, 25151, 10439. 5/7 days - I'll take it!
Goal #2 - Continue Dopey training.
Check! I ran two days with short runs and did my long run on Saturday (6.2 miles, even though it only called for 3)
Goal #3 - Roll with the stick, stretch, and ice daily.
About 75% with this. Need to get to 100% this week, as I notice a different on the days after I skip the routine.
Goal #4 - Lose .5 pounds.
Yes.
Goal #5 - Continue to clean the house throughout the week.
Yes, I did get some cleaning done, though this job is never done.
Goal #6 - Start downloading iTunes music for the marathon. There's no way my phone is going to make it the entire marathon length (as I'm sure it'll take me 6+ hours to complete), and my phone is getting old and tired. Since Spotify isn't on the Apple Nano, I have to use iTunes (which I haven't bough music for in yeeeears). I don't want to spend so much money all at once, I figured breaking it up a bit will be better. Plus, with Christmas not too far off (can't believe I just said that), I'll be asking for some gift cards to help complete the process ;)
Yes – I've got about 3 hours worth of music on my Nano :)
